The following are the objectives of BAMLS:

​

i.        To promote and encourage the practice of Medical Laboratory Sciences in Brunei Darussalam

​

ii.       To promote and maintain a high standard of professional ethics in Medical Laboratory Sciences

​

iii.      To facilitate and foster cooperation and unity among all medical laboratory personnel

​

iv.      To seek and encourage a high standard of training and competence in Medical Laboratory Sciences

​

v.       To encourage the study and exchange of ideas related to and connected with Medical Laboratory Sciences

​

vi.      To improve the effectiveness of Medical Laboratory Sciences by promoting and providing the carrying out of

          development work within the field

​

vii.     To hold meetings for scientific discussions and practical demonstration that are consistent with the objectives

          of the Association

​

viii.    To promote social, cultural and scientific activities among members of the Association

​

ix.      To publish papers and literature related to Medical Laboratory Sciences.

​

x.       To promote cooperation with professional bodies having similar interests and objectives

​

xi.      To be affiliated to or be a member of national, regional and/or international organizations for the furtherance

          of the Association

​

xii.     To form a library for the use of members and others interested in Medical Laboratory Sciences
